WELCOME TO REBECCA'S DANCE STUDIO,CAMDEN

Established in 1998 in Camden, RDS offers professional tuition in a fun-filled environment by experienced and qualified teachers who are passionate about sharing their love of dance. We offer a range of classes in central Camden for all ages and abilities.

 

RDS aims to develop and encourage self-confidence through the creativity of dance. There are a variety of styles and classes to suit all ages and abilities. RDS prides itself on its friendly and encouraging atmosphere. Classes are offered in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical/contemporary, hip hop and musical theatre. RDS also caters for our youngest dancers, with specially designed Tiny Dancers, Tiny Triple Threat and KinderDance classes, aimed at ages 3-5. For those who are too young for independent classes, come and Boogie With Your Baby – a fun interactive class for bubs and their carers to be introduced to the wonderful world of dance through creative play, music and games. The Studio also offers individually tailored bridal classes leading up to your big day.   

 

We have classes for everyone - whether you just need to get out once a week and have some fun with your friends or you're a serious dancer who wants to undertake exams in the BDA (British Dancing Association) syllabus. We are very proud to have 10 students who are qualified BDA teachers and 20 student teachers who have successfully completed the full complement of exams. You’re never too old to start dancing, or to pick up where you left off. There are plenty of performance opportunities for the RDS troupes and the Studio loves to showcase the talent of its students with an annual concert. There are eisteddfod opportunities, both local and further afield.

 

The RDS troupes enjoy performing at local and community events all over the Macarthur area. They dance at many school fetes, as well as Carrington Fair and local Christmas Carols.
